GET HEALTHY NOW…TRY KETO!

Getting healthy is not something that should wait until you make a New Year’s resolution.  There’s no better time than now.  The good news is that New Years is just around the corner!

One of the most important things you can do to defend yourself and family is to maintain a healthy lifestyle, including a well balanced diet and exercise.  You will feel better, increase your mental functioning, and be better prepared in the event of an emergency.

One of the major obstacles in eating healthy is finding recipes that are both delicious and easy to make.  It takes a slight adjustment at first to get used to, but once you get in the habit, it becomes very easy.  It might take a little prep work at first, but it’s worth it because you are worth it!

The truth is that if you really want to lose weight, your diet is the way to make that happen.  I have worked out on a regular basis to maintain a decent fitness level.  However, because I have worked out for a long time, I didn’t monitor what I was eating.  I never lost weight.  In fact,  I gained weight.  It wasn’t until I made the decision that I needed to change to my diet that I saw weight loss, specifically fat loss.

I learned about the KETOGENIC DIET from several different places.  In a nutshell, the KETOGENIC DIET severely limits carbohydrates and sugars substituting fats and protein to force the body into a state of ketosis.  In Ketosis, your body switches to using / burning stored fat for energy.

I have witnessed the progress people were making losing weight.  I was skeptical because I didn’t want to eat all of the fat.  I thought that this diet had to be dangerous.  However, in my mind I didn’t recognize the difference between the healthy fats and bad fats.  After investigation, I recognized the benefits of this diet, and started on the Keto Diet myself.

I started seeing the results within a very short time.  I have already lost 45 pounds after about 5 months of the diet.  I have only 5 pounds left to reach my goal weight of 185 pounds.  I have been told that I have inspired others to start the diet and they are seeing results.
