Description

“Preclusion” is defined as having exhausted all other alternatives, and deadly force is being used as a last resort.  If you ever find yourself in a situation requiring the use of deadly force, rest assured Wisconsin Precision Concealment’s Custom Kydex holsters will be ready. Wisconsin Precision Concealment’s Preclusion line of custom kydex holsters are made to order from high quality kydex, and will provide you with optimal access to your firearm while maximizing our ability to carry concealed.  Our holsters secure your firearm tight to your body, providing you with the physical reassurance that your gun is ready when you need it, while being extremely comfortable such that your can wear the holster for hours on end.

First, choose your firearm and then choose the side you will carry your firearm.

Second, choose the color of the holster you want.  Our standard colors are black, OD green, desert tan, and coyote tan.  We can provide you with a custom kydex color (if the color is available) for an additional fee.  For any custom work, contact us before placing an order.

Third, choose your kydex thickness.  Our standard holsters are made from .08 kydex, and this is the recommended thickness for most applications. Holsters can be made of thinner 0.06 if you so desire.  While 0.06 kydex provides more holster definition, it is not as rigid as 0.08 kydex.

Fourth, choose the cant of the holster.  Holsters can be made without any cant or a 10 degree cant.  This is really a matter of personal preference.  If you are not sure about which to choose, we recommend having no cant on the holster.  We use extra eyelets in construction of our holsters, spaced 3/4″ apart on center, for maximum versatility on your hip.  The cant of each holster can be adjusted by moving the belt loops vertically on the holster.

Fifth, choose the cut of the holster.  For a more comfortable fit, a slant cut (MD cut) is available on all holsters and recommended.  In a slant cut / MD cut holster, the corners are clipped.  This provides much more comfort when bending and sitting, so the bottom corner of the holster does not dig into your leg.

Sixth, choose the height of the sweat guard on the holster.  The sweat guard on each holster can be high, medium or low. This is really a trade off based on comfort. Our personal preference is the low or medium sweat guard. Because each holster sits so close to the body, the high sweat guard often rubs on a person’s side. This can be a cause of discomfort with the holster. The trade off comes if you sweat a lot, you will get some of that sweat on your gun with the low guard. We recommend wearing an undershirt so that your firearm does not sit directly against your skin.  The pictures above show holsters with the low sweat guard.  The medium sweat guard will be approximately 1/2″ higher than the low sweat guard, and the high sweat guard will be approximately 1″ higher.  This is dependent of the size of the firearm.

Finally, choose the belt loop size and type.  Most standard belts are 1.5″ wide, and the 1.5″ loops will accommodate this size.  If you plan on wearing a web belt or riggers belt, you will want 1.75″ loops.  The options include either standard slide-thru loops or drop down loops. Drop down loops essentially slide down over your belt and clip in place without requiring removal of the belt you are wearing.

I have used this rig for a year now as EDC and it is excellent. I have trained with this in harsh conditions, mud, gravel, concrete rain and snow. The retention is excellent and it is very tough, mine is showing some scratches and abrasions but no issues with the holster and weapon is well protected. I did break a couple of sets of the drop down belt clips on both the holster and mag carrier. These are easily replaceable but I switched to the slide through belt loops and have not had any issues since. I just ordered another holster and mag carrier for different weapon and would highly recommend this rig for anyone. J.D.C.
